Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Email address — provided by you when you sign up.
• Signup timestamp — the date and time your entry was created.
• Referral source — if you followed a referral link, we record which referral code brought you here (not any personal information about the referrer beyond their public referral code).
• IP address — collected by our server logs and used for rate-limiting abuse prevention. Not stored alongside your email record.

We do not collect payment data, phone numbers, names, or any demographic information at this stage.

2. How we use your data

Your information is used solely to operate the waitlist:

• Sending you a confirmation email when you sign up.
• Notifying you when early access opens for your wave.
• Calculating your position on the waitlist, including referral-based movement.
• Preventing abuse (duplicate signups, spam submissions).

We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. Email communications

By joining the waitlist you consent to receive:

• A one-time confirmation email upon signup.
• Launch announcements and access invites as we roll out waves.
• Occasional product updates directly relevant to the waitlist.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from all future communications.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon with encryption at rest. Our application is hosted on Render. Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices.

We do not store passwords (no user accounts exist at this stage). Access to the database is restricted to the application and authorized personnel.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use a lightweight, cookie-free analytics beacon to count anonymous pageviews. It does not track individuals, does not use cookies, and does not build behavioral profiles. No third-party advertising trackers are present on this site.

6. Your rights

You may request:

• Access — a copy of the data we hold about your email address.
• Deletion — removal of your email and all associated data from our waitlist. This also removes your referral credits and list position permanently.
• Correction — if your email was entered incorrectly, we can update or remove it.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@yourproduct.com. We respond within 5 business days.

7. Data retention

We retain your email address until you request deletion or the product launches and you either convert to a user or opt out. If the product does not launch, all waitlist data will be deleted within 12 months of the last activity.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, notify waitlist members by email before the changes take effect.
